3-Sep-2007
It looks like a one-sided bet, but smart money shows France, South Africa and Australia also in with a chance.
Just three days out from the start of Rugby World Cup 2007 a quick survey of bookies' odds show that New Zealand are still the strong favourites to win the cup. The All Blacks have had very strong performances over the last couple of years in their buildup to RWC 2007, with only Australia being able to defeat them in recent times. But with excitement and emotion running strong in France, Les Bleus will also be a team to be reckoned with.

| New Zealand | 1.6 | : 1 |
| South Africa | 5.5-9.0 | : 1 |
| France | 6.0-9.0 | : 1 |
