Romania keen to dash Italy's quarterfinal aspirations

After their large loss to NZ, Italy need a win to stay in for quarterfinal contention, but Romania aim to build on their previous 25-24 win over the Italians.

Italy's coach Pierre Berbizier has made abundant changes to the team that were crushed by the All Blacks last week, switching out six players.

The Azzurri have a good record against The Oaks, having won four of the last five matches between the teams. But the last match was won by Romania at Lia Manoliu, Bucharest back in 2004 and the Romanians are keen to build on that experience with a win in today's RWC 2007 Pool C match.
