13 tries give Australia 91-3 victory over Japan

The Wallabies started off a little slowly, leading by only 23-3 at half-time but piled on the points in the second half to win by 91-3 in the RWC Pool B opening match.
Australian flanker Rocky Elsom completed a hat-trick of tries just one minute into the second half, setting a record for the fastest hat-trick by a forward in the history of the Rugby World Cup.
Japan fought till the end but couldn't manage any more than a penalty just before half time. They'll be hoping to improve on their performance for their next match - against Fiji in four days time. Related articles:
