Italy beat Portugal 31-5 in Pool C match

The Azzurri defeated Os Lobos by 31-5 at the Parc des Princes in Paris on Wednesday, scoring three tries to Portugal's one and kicking four penalties in the process.

Italy are hanging on in third position in pool C behind New Zealand and Scotland. Their match against Scotland on September 29 could well decide which team will proceed to the quarterfinals.
